Information collected automatically: Like most websites, gccjournal.in collects basic technical data when you visit — including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages. How We Use Your Information
Your email address is used to:
Send you the specific deliverable you requested (resume PDF link, cover letter, interview report, GCC directory download, or job alerts). Add you to the GCC Journal subscriber list, through which we send career intelligence, GCC job alerts, and updates about new tools and articles. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address to any third party.
Your tool usage data (role type, city, sector, experience level) is stored as Mailchimp merge fields to allow us to send you relevant, segmented content — for example, job alerts filtered to your preferred city and sector.
Third-Party Services We Use
Mailchimp — We use Mailchimp to manage our subscriber list and send email communications. When you submit your email through any tool on this site, your data is transmitted to Mailchimp’s servers. Mailchimp’s privacy policy is available at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.
Anthropic (Claude API) — Our AI-powered tools (Salary Calculator, Resume Builder, AI Mock Interview) send anonymised input data (your role, experience level, and answers) to the Anthropic API to generate responses. We do not send your name or email address to Anthropic. Anthropic’s privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy.
Greenhouse and Lever — The GCC Job Board pulls live job listings from these applicant tracking platforms via their public APIs. No personal data is shared with Greenhouse or Lever unless you click an apply link and interact directly with a company’s career page.
Google Analytics — We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic. This sets cookies in your browser. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Hostinger — This website is hosted on Hostinger’s shared hosting infrastructure. Your data is processed through Hostinger’s servers located in Europe and the US. Hostinger’s privacy policy is at hostinger.in/privacy-policy.
Cookies
